2007-2008: Player of the Year Award: Lee Beach, Neath
Neath captain and Wales Sevens squad member Lee Beach walked away with the Principality Premiership Player of the Year Award at the third annual Principality Premiership Awards dinner.

Beach followed previous winners Phil Dollman (Bedwas) and Morgan Stoddart (Llanelli) onto the Principality Premiership’s ‘Roll of Honour’ and will now be seeking to follow their lead by becoming a Regional player, as he effectively stepped down from the Ospreys regional set-up to commit to Neath last season.

He has also proved invaluable to the Wales Sevens national side in this season's IRB Sevens World Series, helping the side to Bowl victories in George and San Diego, a Shield win in Adelaide and victory in the Denmark Sevens in May 2008, the first of three qualifying tournaments for the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens.
